Deep Cut Denim
Was established in 2018, by former fashion editor, Mariana Nuziale.
As of date Deep Cut Denim has amassed one of the largest and best curated vintage Levi’s collections in New York City.
After a 12 year run at her brick and mortar store, Lola’s Boutique, she decided that she wasn’t completely done with retail, and decided to start selling Vintage Levis at the famous Brooklyn Flea.
Mariana’s creative talent was shaped by the diverse cultures and traditions she was exposed to as a child, as well as her family's ethnic background. Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, to a mother with spanish and Portuguese roots, and an Italian father who was fluent in five different languages.
She was raised and educated in South Africa, the Middle East, and New York. This shaped her deep appreciation for the artistry, craftsmanship, and cultural legacies that these many cultures offered her. Moreover, these cultural influences also reflect her love for the dramatic arts, astrology, illustration, music, design, literature, and principles present in various artistic movements.
Having been formally trained at the Fashion Institute of Technology, in Fashion design and production management, Mariana’s, passion to translate her creative self-expression led her to finally fulfill her childhood dream of designing her own collection of one of a kind wearable pieces.
While consciously aware of the harmful effects that fast fashion has on the planet, Mariana, believes in using sustainable practices such as recycling, repurposing, and up-cycling her designs made from Antique materials, and Vintage fabrics.
